  17. SUBJECT: Patch GeoProg for 128 80
  18. Program in 80 cols on c-128!
  19. Patch GeoProg, patches GEOASSEMBLER and GEOLINKER to run "nicely" on both 40 and 80 columns on the C-128.  This patching sets "doubling" bits for places where in 80 columns things were off by a factor of 2.
  20. This patch has been checked on version 1.1 of the two programs, and RUN on a 1571 and 1750 REU setup as a 1571.  There should be no reason why it would not work on a 1541 or 1581.
  21. GEOS 128 V2.0 users should rename "GEOWRITE 128" to "GEOWRITE" to allowthe 'OPEN to error file' option to be used.
  22. FINAL NOTE:  
  23. This program modifies data on disk.  To be safe, copy this program, GEOASSEMBLER, and GEOLINKER to a scratch or RAM disk before running.
  24. Check the patches worked before copying onto a real disk (don't forget to keep at least one backup of the original programs just in case!).
  25. P.S.  This patch also sets the default header to work on 40 and 80 columns as most people who use this patch will be programming in 80 columns.
